Based on principles of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy), Anxiety Release aims to help users manage anxiety through sound and visualizations. In theory, this kind of brain activity promotes a re-wiring of those areas of the brain that are related to anxiety and panic. The app also contains basic information about anxiety, and guided practice of some anxiety management skills. Users can also track their anxiety over time.
