Black Lotus is a meditation app that aims to help reduce stress, improve sleep, and increase productivity. Users can pick different Goals, such as learning how to Instill Gratitude or how to Be Mindful. When the user chooses a goal, the app sets a reminder at a set time each day to begin their daily meditation. Each goal consists of a time-frame (from 7 days to 21 days), a time to meditate each day, and a recommended number of cycles. Each goal also has outcomes, such as gaining emotional strength, experiencing peace, and reducing envy. There is also a section called “Stories” where users can read, like, comment on, and share articles about other people’s daily experiences. RARE and Instill Gratitude are free goals, whereas others require a subscription.
