Bloom is an app based on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) principles. Upon opening the app, consumers are assessed for their understanding of CBT and are shown a short video introduction to CBT. The app uses interactive, self-guided CBT exercises and videos meant to help consumers with their mental health. There is also a journal feature where consumers answer various prompts. The core features of the app (therapy sessions, activities, and journal) cover different themes, such as handling stress or how to address negative self-talk. The journal feature of the app is free to use while the CBT exercises and videos are part of a premium subscription. The app allows consumers to try the premium version for a seven day trial after which it will cost $59.99 a year, or $4.99 a month.
