Clear Fear is an app that aims to help the user manage symptoms of anxiety. The app uses a framework based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help calm fear responses and change anxious thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. At the top of the home screen, the user can press the “Clear Your Fear” button, which prompts the user to select what they need help with from the following options: Dealing With Your Emotions, Managing Your Worries, Reacting to Worries, or Managing Physical Responses to Anxiety. Each of these options leads to relevant information and exercises to help the user with their area of concern. The home screen also contains 6 other sections: Grit Box; Anxiety Types; Safety Net; Immediate Help; Information; and Self-Monitoring. Within these sections are tools such as motivational quotes, psychoeducational content, a list of emergency contacts, and journaling and mood tracking tools.
