DBT Diary Card & Skills Coach Review
DBT Diary Card & Skills Coach is an app designed to provide psychoeducation and tools based on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). The home page of the app invites users to log their use of DBT skills, and provides resources to build those skills. The “Coaching” section guides users through common DBT practices including using “Wise Mind” in times of distress, practicing tolerance skills in the face of difficult emotions and experiences, using strategies to manage relationship tensions and/or conflict, and DBT based techniques to manage specific intense emotions like Anger, Sadness, Loneliness, and Fear. The app also provides users with graphics that depict their use of DBT skills over time.
