FeelsFM is a web-app that uses music as a coping tool for stress. The app prompts users to use an emoji to represent their mood. After collecting the user’s year of birth and the kind of music they want to hear, a playlist is generated. The playlist has song previews and an option to “Save to Spotify” or “View on Youtube”. Both Youtube and Spotify playlists consist of 5 tracks with the ability to shuffle them to new songs. FeelsFM provides resources that include Samaritans, Breathing Space, NHS24, Childline Scotland, Young Scot, and 7 Cups of Tea for people who need someone to talk to. FeelsFM also has a “Penny for your thoughts” section where users can share how their session went and their experience with mental health. Additional features include a snake game and a short inspirational audio clip which are reached by the background icons on the home page.
