Moving Forward is a symptom tracker for stress-related information with the goal of improving mindfulness and balance in the present moment. A clinical trial evaluating Moving Forward is currently underway (https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01891734). However, there is strong support for the efficacy of problem solving therapy for a variety of psychiatric conditions including depression. A recent meta-analysis of 31 randomized trials found problem-solving therapy was superior to no treatment, treatment as usual, and attention placebo and comparable to other active treatments.
