notOK is an app aimed to help consumers receive support from their network of trusted contacts by pressing a digital panic button in the app. Consumers start by inputting the contact information of trusted individuals, who are then sent a text where they can accept the invitation. When consumers press the app’s “notOK button”, their trusted contacts are notified that they are in need of support. Trusted contacts receive the location of that individual and are asked if they are able to or are unable to help. Once users are okay, they can press the green check button, which sends messages to their contacts letting them know they are now okay. The app also features additional mental health resources such as local warm lines or the Crisis Text Line.

If you or a loved one are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 911 or 1-800-273-8255
