Perspective – Daily Journal is a journaling app that aims to encourage daily journaling and reflecting. The app consists of two views: “Life Feed” and “Life Calendar”. In Life Feed, users can write thoughts, upload photos, track interests, and rate their day. In Life Calendar, users have an overview of their journal and can browse through their journal entries by year and month. Every Sunday, the app will ask users to rate their week as “bad,” “neutral,” or “good” to be reflected in Life Calendar. The app also has an “Insights” section, which displays previously entered thoughts, and a “Discovery” section, where users will see app hints, words of wisdom, and occasional cute animal pictures. The app is free, with options for the user to make donations in-app.
