Sanity & Self is a self-care app designed for women. Using the free version of the app gives the user access to brief audio “self-care sessions” (4-15 minutes), which cover topics such as self-esteem, fitness, relationships, and relaxation; a premium membership gives the user access to 900+ audio sessions (2-45 minutes), and access to lifestyle, relationship, and fitness experts. A journal section guides users to describe their emotions and feelings with prompt questions on three main topics: ‘Peace of Mind’, ‘Gratitude’, and ‘Release Anger’. The app also contains a Community feature, where users can post in a forum, connect with peers, share pictures, and engage in positive advice and comments. The app provides metrics of use including self-care minutes, sessions taken, community activity, and journal entries, as well as notifications to prompt use.
