Thinkladder aims to improve symptoms of mood disorders, stress, and anxiety through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), gratitude, and psychoeducation. Thinkladder’s main feature is its cognitive restructuring exercise. To begin, a user selects a theme for what they would like to address (e.g., body image, anxiety, avoiding risk). Once selected, the app suggests possible symptoms, thoughts, and insights. These include common maladaptive thoughts and insights that others have submitted to the app. Thinkladder then guides users in challenging those maladaptive thoughts and shifting them into more positive insightful ones. Other features of the app include audio exercises and gratitude practice. For $5.99 users can unlock all the themes provided by Thinkladder.
