Youper is an AI chat-bot app designed to help users identify, track, and process their thoughts and feelings. Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, it may help users improve their mood and sleep patterns, and reduce their symptoms of anxiety, stress, and depression. The app includes 4 main features: Youper the AI Chat-Bot, Journal Logs, Mood Logs, and an Emotional Health Assessment. The Youper Chat-Bot asks users to describe how they are currently feeling, with the option to ask Youper for help to identify how they feel. Then, Youper asks the user to identify the factors or events that contributed to how they are currently feeling. Finally, Youper suggests a few activities to improve the rest of the day. The Journal Log displays all of a user’s responses to the “How are you feeling?” prompt from the Youper chat-bot. The Mood Log feature collects user’s responses to “What made you feel this way?” prompts from the Youper chat-bot. Recommended age: 12+ years.
